I finished The Last Continent, by Terry Pratchett. I got the Collector’s Library edition and it’s a beautiful hardcover. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was contemplating why I don’t love the Rincewind stories and I think it’s because things just happen to him. He has been described as a walking “No” in the face of the universe’s (Terry Pratchet’s) YES. You can’t get to know and love Rincewind, as he’s just an empty spot where you insert the plot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thankfully he does come packaged with The Luggage, which is always interesting. And often the Librarian, who is a treat. Overall, while not a favorite, there was plenty to enjoy in this episode of Rincewind Goes to Australia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
